Hello all, I was hoping you could help me find the correct solution to my problem.
This is for business use. My boss want's to be able to watch TV at work when the golf games come on and such. We could just get him a TV in his office with cable service. That is one of the options on the table. He may also want to watch in a different room however. There are also other executives that may be interested.
So I was thinking of getting something like a slingbox. However it is my understanding that only one user can watch at a time from a slingbox.
I don't know much about the Hava but I assume it is the same.
I also ran across something called an HDHomeRun. They have one that will accept a cablecard and has 3 tuners in it. They also have one that uses two cable cards and has 6 tuners in it. This would allow up to 6 people to watch the same or different programming on any computer in the office.
HDHomeRun has another box that multicasts to the whole network. I guess this would let any number of users watch whatever the tuner is set to. However I hear that this will not work with digital cable but only clear qam.
What would you recomend for my needs?
Thanks.

I would probably get the TV with cable service for the office. Then connect a Vulkano to it. Multiple people on the same LAN can watch on their computer at the same time. He can also do the same if not in his office.
If he thinks that he may want to stream to another TV in the office he could connect a Flow to his cable box and then a Lava elsewhere to a TV.
