Of course, you’ll need a Slingbox SOLO or Slingbox PRO-HD to enjoy SlingPlayer for Android tablets. If you have a Slingbox PRO, Slingbox AV, Slingbox TUNER or Slingbox Classic, you will need to upgrade your Slingbox to the latest and greatest because these legacy boxes do not have the hardware capability to stream at the Android tablet’s higher resolution. If you have already purchased SlingPlayer for Android phones, it will work in "Compatibility Mode" on the Android tablet. The Android phone version of the app will stream from all Slingbox devices, but not at the higher quality resolutions of the Android tablet app.
