Is it a good program to buy to record from Sling Box?

Hello.

Now I downloaded the demo of Jaksta for Slingbox.
But it would not work, find my Slingbox but can not login with my account.
So it does not record anything.
Have tried both with IP and ID.
I have also mailed to Jaksta support but no help.
Is there any other software that can record TV from your PC via Sling Box

I have not seen any other easy way to record with the Slingbox. They scramble the stream to try and prevent recording.

Hi Brandon.

I can't get Jaksta to work. Get an error when logging occurs.
Is there an Admin password in the Sling Box.
Or is it the same as I log in to Sling.com.
Is this error message a communication error or authentication error?
This says Jaksta as error message:

I don't really know what could be wrong but you do have to login using your admin password not the user password.

You might want to double check the password in the Slingbox setup or accounts.slingbox.com

Mmmm. You mean I expected to have 2 passwd. one user and one adm?
I only have one that I use when I log on to Slingbox.com. That's what I use when I use the webb or running the app on my computer.
Or have you heard that there would be restrictions in Sweden?

Now I've managed to get everything to work Sling Box and Jaksta. I can now sit in Thailand cool and watch what I want and record the broadcast at night smile. If you are thinking about getting Jaksta I just want to mention that their support is outstandingface_love. Ask a question, in my case from Sweden and they respond with lightning speed.

my experience has been that I have had problems with JAKSTA.  see my posting on the JAKSTA thread.
