I've had a Slingbox Solo set up at our permanent address for some time and we recently purchased a beach house. I can receive the SB signal on my computer via broadband internet connections at both homes, but I would like to send the signal to our Vizio HDTV at the beach house to avoid paying for another cable TV account there. I've read that installing a Logitech Revue at the beach house may make this possible. Does anyone have experience with this? Is HD TV possible via the Logitech Revue?

If your laptop has HDMI out you might try connecting to your TV that way. Far as the Revue does I have heard both good and bad things. You do need at least 2Mbps upload from where the Slingbox is (and a Pro HD) to get HD. The Solo doesn't do HD.

Thanks for the info. My laptop does have an HDMI out. I'll give it a try. If it works I may upgrade to the Slingbox Pro HD.

Sounds like a plan, Let us know how it works out with your Solo and if you decide to upgrade.

For the same purpose I'm using a SlingboxProHD and a D-Link Boxee box: Slingplayer boxee app works great.
