What Slingbox do you have? The Pro HD and Solo should be updating automatically these days. Has your Slingbox been offline for a while? Maybe it has a very old firmware on it.

I have a Slingbox Solo, only 2 months old. Firmware version 2.1.120;
Firmware Date 11/30/2010
It's not old?

That is a really old firmware. You may have just got the Solo a couple of months ago but the firmware is over a year old.
Current version is 2.1.190 I believe. If it works fine then you don't have to update but since you have only owned it 2 months if you do it should still be under warranty.

Now I upgraded to FW 2.1.250. Then lost my remotcontroll. When I run the setup program informs the Sling Box can not be t use in Sweden. How do I recover my old FW? Which file should I take, what name, .xxx
