Okay, I have a Pro HD connected to a COX HD DVR (nothing else connected to it)in Virginia.  The issue is that some of my HD channels work, while others say Temporarily off Air, Please check back later……  I know that my slingbox's host family receives (pays for) these channels.  He contacted COX and when the tech came to his house, they said that it was the Slingbox that was killing those channels throughout the house (all TVs).  I was told that they disconnected the slingbox, the channels started working again.  I cannot understand how the slingbox is at fault!?!?!  I'm thinking it's the COX DVR but I need some backup.

any help?????

How do you have it cabled from the DVR to Slingbox and to TV?

Do you have an HDMI cable and component cables plugged into the DVR? HDMI to TV and component to Slingbox? So DVR's don't play nice when connected that way.

If using component only and no HDMI are they telling you that you must use HDMI?

I have the cable DVR is hooked via component video, no TV, no HDMI.  They aren't telling me anything, just that the sling is causing the outage (which I think is BS).
