Looks like Slingmedia discontinued their web pages for 'learning' unsupported remote controls. According to them they 'investigating ways to better incorporate "remote learning" into their products'.

Fine, they actually agreed something needs be improved here, but right now the only way to add custom remotes is by .bin files.

Had to reset my Sling Pro this morning, and now no longer able to use my old receiver with its unsupported remote  frown

I didn't realize they took it down. Thanks for the heads up. What do you have your Slingbox connected to? Maybe there is a BIN file already created.

The Slingbox is connected to my old 'Skymaster DX5' - have to admit that this one is one of the cheapest satellite receiver.

Slingplayer software already supports a lot of other Skymaster devices, but not that one. Also I didn't find any working .bin file for its remote.
