When using the Slingbox on a local network, through the web browser, rather than Slingbox desktop application, does it use any external bandwidth (as in anything uploaded/downloaded over the internet) or just local bandwidth?

Thanks in advance.

It will contact the Sling Media servers for things like stats, checking for updates and account information but that isn't much bandwidth. The main sling stream stays on your LAN.
