I have my slingbox in Florida will I be able to connect to it via my slingcatcher and slingdesktop in Japan.

 

Just want to know before I go on a trip thanks

You should be able to connect. The quality of the streaming video you really won't know until you try though.

If there are a lot of hops and latency you may not get a very good picture or if could skip and jump.
