I have just purchased my Slingbox and have discovered the 6131 is not supported. I have tried all other bell remote options. I have tried one suggested solution of using the Dish Network VIP 211 and it did not work. Is there a fix for this problem as of yet? Thanks for your help!frown

My slingbox and 6131 works fine with multiple remotes (ExpressVu, Dish, Echostar, etc)

 

Make sure your IR blaster is aligned properly, so your 6131 responds to commands.

 

Check the 6131 remote address (press system info button on the receiver and look for the remote address).  Most pre-configured remotes on the Slingbox works for address 1.  If you have anything else (e.g 2, 3, etc), you can have to use a remote with Code 2, 3, etc

 

At the moment, I have the 6131  as "ExpressVu satellite" Model "ExpressVu ViP211".  It works fine.
