Hey everyone! Sorry if there's another post on this, I tried my best to find one but couldn't.
I'm wondering if there's any way that I can connect my Slingbox directly into my DirecTV for the purposes of changing channels. Everything works fine for me now with the dongles hanging in front of the DirecTV, except there's a delay in the time it takes to change the channels, and I'm always running the risk of someone knocking them out of the way while I'm away. (Obviously I can just tape them down better).
My Slingbox (SOLO) has an IR out port that the dongles plug into, but my DirecTV HMC (HR34) has an IR Receive Port. I'm hoping there's some way to plug something into each of these ports so that I can have direct control of my DirecTV box from my Slingbox.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
