With Firefox 15.0 the setup do find my slingbox, but the program can`t connect to it to get further. The support-page shows me a totaly wrong public IP-adress…what is going on?

With IE there is no problem to get through the whole setup-progress, but even here I get the same wrong public IP-adress from the support-page!

I´ve no problems either within the standalone player to make configurations.

Is this a Firefox issue again or has my router (D-Link DWR-923) som kind of hiccup now?

I tried today with Firefox 15 and had the same problem. Hopefully they will get that fixed soon. If you go through the setup using IE and then afterwards watch it should update the support page info. If not maybe there is a slowdown on their servers and it takes a while before they update that info.

No…nix…nada! It still shows me the wrong adresses! My Slingbox and my router has been reconfigured from scratch! Both adresses are totaly wrong!

Could it be this matter why my friend abroad in Spain looses the connection after a short while?

I don't know why yours isn't updating. I wouldn't think that once connected that it would cause a disconnect after awhile but you never know. I use the Stand Alone Slingplayer program mostly.
