Sling Media has just released a new firmware update for the Slingbox Solo. It is version 2.1.210.

Most Solo users will receive this new firmware auatomatically without having to manually install. If you wat to manually install you can download it here.

From what we have been able to determine this new firmware makes it easier to access your SLingbox remotely by setting up UPNP port forwarding.
Other than that we have no other info at this time what the new firmware addresses far as bugs, upgrades or new features. Frown

Is this for the US version of the SOLO? Mine has been stuck at the 2.1.180 and has not updated to this newer version. Maybe I should do it manually? The person connecting to it has been complaining that the SOLO has been loosing the connectivity even though I have both lights on the unit. (A simply restart fixes it, but I am hoping this FW fixes it..)
