any info as to when the sling receiver will be released?

Sling Media doesn't want to release the Sling receiver as a standalone product. They want a TV provider, like Echostar to sell it.
I don't think we will ever see available directly but only through a 3rd party. Just my opinion but it does seem that is the way they are going.
