Anyone else had any experience of this ?
I am using it but the speeds on the Boxee Box are not as fast as when I connect via my computer.

I am in Utah and I am using a feed from  the UK on a Slingbox HD.

Thanks !!

I would really like to hear from users of boxee box and slingplayer. How does it compare to the pc slingplayer?

Since you have it, would you be able to answer my inquiry ?
Do you know what's the highest resolution supported with this app ? Is it still 1280x540 like on the Slingcatcher ?

Fow what it's worth, the Slingcatcher too was providing me with lower speeds than when using the Windows desktop player.

I got as high as 1920x544. Not sure if that's the limit.

As for the speed, I find it to be the same as I get on other devices – perhaps even better and much more stable + better picture quality.

On the other hand, the Boxee player is difficult to control – the remote keys are not customizable at all and it's pain to navigate through OSD menus all the time, searching for a key that needs pushing frown

I have an HDS 600RS and the Facebook app says my device isn't supported (although the app on my iPhone works fine). Do you know if the Boxee Slingplayer is compatible with the HDS 600RS?

Thanks!

Sling Media's info page on it says you must have a Slingbox SOLO or Slingbox PRO-HD. It doesn't say anything about the 600RS so I would doubt it.

I know you can run a version of BOXEE on the Apple TV.  Has anyone tried to run the Slingbox app on Boxee while on the Apple TV?
