I Really searched around for the answers - all night long.
Have given up cursing Slingmedia's abysmal virtual remote software team - they are already destined for the fires and the hobs of hell. Who else would release a piece of software the simply does not work? – well – not for a v+ box it seems.
I am (of course) abroad for months to come and have been for a few months already.
All I have been waiting for is a remote control upgrade for the slingplayer mobile app that is described as having 'easy access to all your tv content' – NOT!
Sorry to trouble you guys – but is there such an upgrade to (or downloadable substitute for) the faulty sling mobile software I am saddled with?
I'm not particularly technically savvy enough to get into programming or swapping files around without detailed guidance but would appreciate any news or advice regarding the above.

Humble pie time
The recorded content is accessed by selecting the Virgin Media button in the 'all' remote control options – of which there are many.
Thought I'd tried every option – apparently not. (silent scream of "Counter intuitive")
Hope this is helpful to others
What would be helpful would be a virtual remote from Sling media that emulates the original by providing a V+ button, from whence the recorded content is accessed by Virgin customers.
Again, not holding my breath.
