This is Bullshit, i appologize for the foul language but this rediculous, $30 for a app thats been updated once in a 3 year period is unacceptable, Android has a new UI and new phones with new hardware but slingmedia sucks so much that they refuse to give us LOYAL customers who were dumb enough to pay for a $30 app that should of been free to begin with a WOTHY update. Seems they'd rather charge us again for an update.
where do i start?
Since day one the android community has stressed its fustrations why we dont have a option to listen to the stream without video, yet this simple feature is available on the slingplayer mobile for apple. its a god damn slap in the face from our beloved slingmedia.
android users also have phones with 720p resolutions that we cant take advantage of because sling refuses to give us a timely update.
Due to lack of ICS support the menu button now takes up screen space so my 4.7 inch screen is reduced to 4.4 inch because of the menu button not going away.
I like when companies stand by their product & support the product well into the final stages. it seems like all our cries are falling on deaf ears.
I recently purchased a htc one s for my girlfriend & the first thing she asked me for was her own slingbox, i think i might just look at the competetion like vulkano who actually stand by their products & inform the community on what the future holds.
Shame on sling media for charging me for customer service past 90 days when most companies stand by their products for atleast a year.
Shame on sling media for charging us for the Apple app,ipad app, Android app, android tablet app & the god damn kindle. All these apps should be available under one registerd user!
what ever happened to slingbox on the ps3? more lies that they are feeding us!
Dont get me wrong, i love my pro hd & the fact that i can watch tv virtualy anywhere, what i dont like is being played for a sucker.
Now if im not the only one feeling this way, please respond & hopefully slingmedia will do the right thing!
Since they charge $30.00 for each different mobile app you would expect more support or updates over a free or even a $10 app.
There is a lot more competition these days and more to come soon so it will be interesting to see if they change their business model to compete or if they continue down the same path.

I would add, bklynstylebaby, that there always a solution to your concerns / complaints. Its called…find another solution that works better for you. If you don't like Slingbox move on to something else.
i said i don't like the fact they don't update the mobile app, never said i don't like slingbox, did you read?
