There’s nothing worse than getting your brand new Slingbox or Monsoon Hava out and set up, only to discover that your A/V device is unsupported. If you find yourself in this situation, you can now take matters into your own hands by creating and using custom IR remote files for your own gear.
Fortunately long time Slinger Alan Richey has created a great how-to guide on finding, creating and setting up remote files that are not included by Sling Media Slingbox.
He has just recently updated (Fri Apr 30, 2010) it to reflect the latest changes and links to the available information and files.

After creating over 100 special remote files and helping maybe thousands of people with controlling their Slingbox he is probably the most knowledgeable remote control specialist out there.
Motorola onscreen remote QIP6200 not working in Slingbox. I tried all the codes and all of the model numbers listed and nothing worked. It shows up as the identical one to mine but the only thing that works is the mute and volume controls, it won’t change the channels. Can someone please help me get the right code? Thanks very much.

Following up on the last comment from Alan Richey – the Motorola QIP 7232 does not work with ANY of the Motorola codes available in the SlingBox setup software. Obviously, all Motorola boxes do NOT use the same codes.
I’ve been having the same issues. Please let me know if you come up with a solution.
Did you try all the other Pace remote codes? Sometimes one that is close will work.
